Our Logo - The Story

Most brands do logos for the look or to be cool. Everything we do is with purpose and for a reason. There's meaning in all that happens, good and bad. We value symbolism and see symbolism in all around us. Hence, this logo is made with symbolism and meaning.

The bee represents us - industrious and always busy. We are not idle people nor are we interested in the most recent opinions and comparisons of the world or others around us. We are interested in doing good in all our days.

The grain represents productivity. All we do needs to increase and enhance the world around us in some way.

The greens represents our connection to nature. Without nature and the soil around us, we are nothing. We come from the soil and will return to the soil. We must be good stewards of the world which we live on. Without healthy soil we do not have healthy grass. Without healthy grass, we have nothing to offer those around us.

The apples represent our beginnings. Adam and Eve were placed in the Garden of Eden by their Creator - a loving Heavenly Father. He commanded them to till and take care of the Garden of Eden, and to multiply and replenish the earth that they may have joy and rejoicing in their posterity. But, they were commanded not to partake of the fruit of the tree of knowledge. Yet, partaking of the fruit was essential to starting the process of learning right from wrong and bringing mortality into the world. Eve's choice was a noble choice to begin the process of life in mortality. Without her choice, we never would have been born, learned right from wrong, experienced pleasure or pain, health or sickness, sorrow or joy. Every choice we make is an opportunity to learn, grow and care for others. Will our choices be selfish or selfless? Will we enlarge our collective humanity, or take humanity out of others through our selfishness? Every choice matters, not just to us, but to all those around us.

Being a sheep-based operation we are ever mindful of the symbolism of the lamb. We are His lambs and He is the Lamb of God. The lamb is a symbol of dependence and reliance on others and the care and love we need to give to those in need. We are nothing without each other and we are everything when we help one another succeed. If He is ever compassionate and ready to forgive us, so we should be with others. This is easier said than done for many reasons. But, ultimately, we are to learn to be like a lamb and submit to the Lamb of God in all we do.

We aim to make this small sliver of dirt, here in Union City, a Second Eden.
